The Peporimia Argyreia, also known as a Watermelon Peperomia is native to South America, and is part of the Piperaceae family which has 1000s of varieties.

The plant gets its nickname from its distinctive teardrop shaped leaves that feature silvery stripes almost resembling a mini watermelon.

Caring for this plant is pretty easy as long as you give it the care it needs. Pop your plant in a bright room without direct sunlight and water it every 8-10 days or once it’s soil is dry to the touch. Avoid over-watering as this can cause root rot.
